Follow the Human Fighter or Mystic opening from Talking Island to early quests, stronger hunts and the first dungeon decision.
Human Fighters begin at Cedric's Training Hall, while Human Mystics begin at Einhovant's School of Magic. Take the tutorial that matches the character instead of following a route written for the other start. The nearby C1 monster records list level 1 Keltirs and Elpy around the village and a level 4 Wolf as an early step up. Use those first fights to learn the reach, recovery cost and skill rhythm of the class before buying supplies in bulk.
The two tutorials begin in different places, and the level 9 and level 10 Spirit of Mirrors continue that Fighter and Mystic split. The Guard is Busy opens at level 6 from Talking Island Village. Check each quest record before leaving town: a quest name alone does not tell you its exact NPC order or target. Choose one objective that shares the ground you already plan to hunt, then return to the correct NPC rather than carrying a completed task for several levels.
| C1 quest | Starts at | How it fits |
|---|---|---|
| Fighter's Tutorial | 1 | Fighter starting path |
| Mystic's Tutorial | 1 | Mystic starting path |
| The Guard is Busy | 6 | Village quest checkpoint |
| Sword of Solidarity | 9 | Human Fighter branch |
| Spirit of Mirrors | 10 | Human Mystic branch |
The native location records distinguish the village from the northern territory and the Elven Ruins. The northern area lists
Stone Golem at level 13 and
Giant Spider at level 15, a meaningful jump from a first
Keltir. Elven Ruins begin with
Relic Werewolf at level 9, but the same record contains deeper level 12 to 16 enemies. Test the entrance before treating the whole dungeon as one hunting level. A nearby retreat path matters more than reaching the farthest room.
A Human Fighter can compare incoming damage and time to defeat a target; a Mystic must also account for MP and casting interruption. Keep an exit open when a group of enemies changes the fight. If a monster requires too much recovery, move back to a repeatable outside loop even if the dungeon is geographically close. The Mob Comparator can check recorded levels and rewards, but a short in-game trial tells you whether the selected camp suits your equipment and server rules.
Talking Island is a self-contained starting area, so moving to mainland quests or profession objectives is a travel decision. Finish useful local hand-ins, learn available skills and check the route and cost before leaving. Carry enough for the return or for a safe escape rather than spending every adena on a new weapon. The level 19 first-profession quests have their own records; use the class transfer guide once your chosen path is settled.
There is no universal level at which every Human must leave Talking Island. If local fights are still productive and a quest hand-in is nearby, staying can be sensible; if the only remaining targets create long recovery breaks, prepare the next route. Recheck skills, equipment grade and quest requirements together. This makes the move to the mainland an informed step rather than a race to reach a named dungeon.
