Choose the correct directional ship or boat ticket, plan both harbor legs and understand when a sea crossing beats a land detour.
The C1 item catalogue distinguishes the Gludin–Talking Island ship from the Giran Harbor–Talking Island boat. Each direction has its own item ID, even when the visible item name is the same. Decide which mainland port serves your next quest or class trainer before buying. A return journey needs the opposite ticket; keeping the outbound one is not a substitute.
| Crossing direction | Ticket | C1 catalogue base price |
|---|---|---|
| Ship Ticket | 2,000 adena | |
| Ship Ticket | 2,000 adena | |
| Boat Ticket | 8,000 adena | |
| Boat Ticket | 8,000 adena |
Go to the wharf for the leg you are actually taking and inspect its manager's ticket list. The C1 NPC catalogue records
Clancy with the Gludin ship tickets and
Felton with the Giran boat tickets. Names, dialogue and sale prices can differ on customized servers, so confirm both departure and destination on the ticket item before you pay. A ticket for the opposite direction is a different item.
The ticket item records list base prices of 2,000 adena for the Gludin route and 8,000 for the Giran route. A live merchant can add a local price adjustment, so check the actual shop menu rather than arriving with exactly the catalogue amount. Also keep adena for travel from the arrival harbor to the town service or quest NPC you need next.
A C1 update records a bell before departure, but the available data does not establish a universal timetable for every server. Reach the boarding point with your ticket and supplies ready, and leave room in the schedule if a boat has just departed. Before crossing, decide whether the return will be another ticket, a teleport after the mainland leg or an escape scroll with a known destination.
Gludin is usually the practical first mainland stop for a character leaving Talking Island to continue early progression. Giran Harbor is a different destination and its ticket consumes a much larger crystal-free adena budget. Pick Giran when a Giran-region objective justifies the direct crossing; otherwise compare the ship to Gludin plus the onward walk or gatekeeper route. The ferry ticket is only one part of that total trip.
The C1 teleport tool compares recorded gatekeeper routes and escape returns. It does not price these ship tickets or calculate sailing schedules. Use it for the land leg after reaching Gludin or the Giran region, then add the actual ticket price separately. This avoids treating a low gatekeeper fare as the cost of crossing the sea.
