Technical lineage, not mirror attribution
The public provenance label describes the underlying technical lineage of the game data: retail-oriented server records, original-client-derived static fields, the transformations applied by L2Tools and the checks passed before publication. Mirror names and transfer URLs are acquisition details, not the authority behind the game data.
Data sources: game server/datapack files and game-client files. Coverage, transformations and validation are documented by chronicle below.
Dataset C1-DEV-2026.09.23 · catalogue reviewed 2026-09-23
The supplied C1 client is the source for icons, stored separately from later chronicles. Existing PNGs were compared byte for byte with a fresh export of its Icon.utx package. Master Toma's CHN C1 server tables provide the 58 classes, 49 progression links, core attributes and 6,801 skill-learning ranks, including levels, SP and required books. C1 has five races and ends at the second profession. SkillData supplies 3,543 ranks for 776 skills: effects, both MP consumption stages, casting times, reuse delays and ranges. Class skill rows use their exact rank; the skill directory shows the lowest native rank.
The server package includes maintainer fixes. Client display text and catalog fields outside the verified imports remain under native-source review. Skill effect descriptions now summarize the native rank values. Legacy skill 3002 has no match in the supplied tables and is explicitly shown without verified rank data. Migration of items, drops, recipes and quests remains incomplete. NpcData now supplies race, sex, the six attributes and combat inputs for all 2,016 NPCs. Inherited AIScripts determine sight aggression and clan or party assistance; seven missing AI references remain unknown. NPC combat totals are calculated from the native attribute/level bonuses and declared passives, with source inputs retained; these formulas still need comparison with a running C1 server. Empty NPC skill names use readable server symbols, and 87 service or castle NPCs have corrected categories. These checks cover source values, icons and class learning; runtime combat formulas and public API support require separate validation. Native NpcPos records now supply static spawn points and territories for 1,474 NPCs. The C1 client world map uses its own coordinate frame. Tutorial hunting areas are scoped to their starting region, and detached Elven Ruins interiors use their native exit location as an entrance marker.
Native SellLists now supply 3,473 item–seller links across 83 NPCs. MultiSell supplies 15 weapon offers at Galladucci and 23 armor/accessory offers at Alexandria, with the exact crystal costs. The retained native pack lacks their merchant HTML: these two NPC bindings are checked separately against complete matching offers in the retained C1 acquisition. All 6,800 drop/spoil identities and both link directions are checked. Existing loot values are preserved; 602 quantity and 6,120 probability differences from the native pack remain documented, including Sword of Revolution.

| Drops and spoil | PTS/L2OFF-oriented loot tables as documented by the dataset maintainers | Published x1 percentage and quantity normalization | Probability, quantity and item-ID checks |
| Soul Crystal progression | Server transition rows linked to original-client-compatible crystal stages | Result stage N = N-1 → N | Transition, stage and item invariants |
| Skills, quests and recipes | Chronicle-scoped server records combined with client-derived identifiers and labels | ID linking and graph normalization | Orphan, duplicate and graph checks |
| Locations and maps | Server world coordinates combined with original-client-compatible map assets | Coordinate projection and zone linking | Projection, bounds and relationship checks |
The PTS/L2OFF and original-client lineage above is the documented lineage supplied with the acquisition datasets. L2Tools preserves the chronicle, numeric IDs and field roles, then performs its own normalization and validation. “Independently artifact-verified” is reserved for an exact package or client build whose version, parser and checksum are retained by L2Tools.

High Five is published as a normalized reference snapshot. Its core database records are production-ready and proactively indexed. Completeness is stated category by category: quests and Soul Crystal progression are not silently included in a broader claim while their dedicated High Five datasets are absent.
Interlude is the canonical label used by L2Tools. “C6” remains useful as a historical and community shorthand because Interlude followed Chronicle 5, but NCsoft's launch wording presented it as the first chapter of The Chaotic Throne and the transition away from The Chaotic Chronicle. See an archived copy of the 2007 NCsoft West news posts.
High Five is kept without an unofficial C/CT number. The contemporary NCsoft West posts present it as the “High Five update”, including parts 1–4 on the PTS and the live release on February 15, 2011. See an archived copy of the 2011 NCsoft West news posts.
