Plan Chronicle 1 servitors with concrete first-rank crystal examples, the documented XP shares and a full-session budget.
The Chronicle 1 summon update groups ordinary servitors by the share of hunting experience their owner receives: 70% for one group and 10% for another. The remaining share should not be treated as a fixed party bonus or as a crystal price. These are rules for the named summons in the update, not a universal statement about every pet, cubic or custom server. Choose a companion by what it helps you accomplish as well as the XP it leaves.
The native C1 skill records below show the initial D-grade crystal requirement of rank one, while the published C1 update supplies the owner's XP share. The examples span different classes and learn levels, so they are not a same-level damage ranking. A later rank can change crystal cost or the summoned creature. Open its skill page before buying a stack, and verify that the class can learn the rank you intend to use.
| C1 summon skill | Owner XP share | Initial D crystals at rank 1 |
|---|---|---|
| Summon Kat the Cat | 70% | 3 |
| Summon Shadow | 70% | 3 |
| Summon Dark Panther | 70% | 13 |
| Summon Mew the Cat | 10% | 1 |
| Summon Silhouette | 10% | 1 |
| Summon Corrupted Man | 10% | 9 |
Suppose an otherwise comparable kill is worth X experience to the owner before the documented summon share. A 70% example leaves 0.70 × X; a 10% example leaves 0.10 × X. That comparison says nothing about how quickly either summon defeats the target. For adena, multiply the skill rank's initial crystal count by the local crystal price, then account for any continued consumption shown by the summon and the number of replacements needed during the route. Keep these two calculations separate.
The ordinary examples above consume at their first recorded rank. Open its item page for acquisition options rather than assuming a fixed market price. A first-cast number is not a guarantee of the total cost of keeping a servitor active; inspect ongoing consumption and the live server's behaviour before committing a long hunt. Keep spare crystals and normal combat supplies, but do not fill the bag so completely that drops must be left behind.
| C1 resource | Use in this plan | What to verify |

The Chronicle 1 update describes a 20-minute duration for summoned monsters and a six-hour reuse restriction for qualifying Human, Elven and Dark Elven Wizards at level 40 and below. Those are different clocks: expiry does not guarantee immediate replacement. Check the exact class and skill rank before treating the rule as your own cooldown. Mark the return route and a fighting fallback for the time when the companion is gone or cannot be summoned.
Knight cubics have their own recorded crystal costs and the C1 update gives them a 15-minute duration; do not apply the servitor XP table to them.
Summon Siege Golem is a special Warsmith siege skill with a distinct C-grade crystal and gemstone upkeep in the C1 skill update. It is not an ordinary hunting companion. When comparing classes, first identify which kind of summon the skill creates, then inspect the correct cost and activity rules.
Use the C1 class page to confirm access, the skill page for its rank, and the item page for crystals. Then try a known monster route with and without the companion. Record kills, owner XP, MP recovery, replacement crystals, healing and travel time over the whole session. A lower XP share may still help a difficult fight, while a cheaper summon can be a poor choice if it slows every pull. The best option depends on the goal of that outing.
