Use Prophet's recorded C1 skill tree to choose buffs for a real group, budget MP and follow the correct level-40 transfer route.

Choose the job behind the class name

A Human Cleric can become a Bishop for a healing-centered route or a Prophet for a broader buff toolkit. A Prophet still helps a party survive, but its C1 skill list is especially useful when several members can benefit from planned effects before the first pull. Decide which characters need physical attack, accuracy, critical or casting support, and whether someone else will carry the main healing load. The choice is about the composition you regularly play, not a universal best support class.

The C1 Prophet mapping records Guidance, Death Whisper, Mental Shield and Bless Shield at the level-40 step. Focus, Haste and Magic Barrier appear in later steps, and the listed Acumen rank comes later still. This matters when planning a party at level 40: do not assume a named end-state buff is already learned, bought and ready to cast. Check the particular rank, SP cost and spellbook before promising the effect to another player.

Buff for the next encounter, not for a perfect screenshot

A melee-heavy party may value Guidance, Focus or Haste more than a caster-heavy group does. A caster may care more about Acumen, Concentration or Magic Barrier in a dangerous area. Inspect each skill's target, duration and MP cost, then use only the effects that will change the next set of fights. Refreshing everything after every short pull can empty the Prophet before a healer needs help.

Bring the correct learning items and a reserve

A skill name on the class page is not the same as a learned skill on the character. Check its learn level, SP and any spellbook item before leaving town. Reserve adena for the book, equipment-grade shots, escape and the trip back; carrying an expensive book that cannot yet be learned is less useful than a complete hunting kit. The item catalogue helps identify the exact item rather than a similarly named later-chronicle book.

Compare Prophet with the other support paths fairly

Bishop develops stronger direct recovery and higher Resurrection ranks, while Elven Elder and Shillien Elder offer Recharge. Prophet's mapped second-class list does not show Recharge, so a caster party that depends on an MP battery should account for that separately. Put the candidates into the C1 builder at the same level and ask who covers healing, MP, buffs and a safe exit. The answer can change as members learn new skills.

Follow the exact Prophet transfer

The Prophet's native C1 transfer mapping combines Trial of the Pilgrim, Testimony of Trust and Test of the Reformer. Those are three quest chains, not one visit at level 40. Open the linked 3-in-1 route to organize NPCs, travel and proof items, then confirm each quest's current objective in its record. Sharing two quest names with another Human support destination does not make the final Test interchangeable.
