Compare Destroyer and Tyrant through Chronicle 1 weapon skills, resource timing, hunting style and verified transfer quests.
Orc Fighter can become Orc Raider and then Destroyer, or Orc Monk and then Tyrant. The later classes do not ask for the same weapon plan: Destroyer's recorded skills include sword, blunt and polearm support, while Tyrant's list centers on fists and force skills. Inspect the first profession before buying equipment for the second. A high-level showcase tells you little about the route and supplies needed to reach it.
Destroyer has
Battle Roar,
Guts and later
Frenzy around a heavy melee kit. Tyrant has
Fist Mastery,
Focus Force,
Force Blaster and
Totem Spirit Puma. Both paths still need positioning and recovery; their named skills are choices to manage, not permanent free damage. Check the linked class page for actual learn levels and requirements before deciding that one route is automatically better at level 40.
| Second class | Recorded C1 skill examples | Question to test |
|---|---|---|
| Destroyer | Can your group support a riskier HP and weapon plan? | |
| Tyrant | Will force setup and fist combat suit repeatable pulls? |
Frenzy and
Guts are reasons to inspect Destroyer, but their activation conditions and effects must be read at the actual C1 rank. Do not deliberately sacrifice HP for a theoretical bonus before the party has a recovery plan. Select a target the group can control, agree who heals or stops the pull, and compare results over several fights. Polearm skills can change a grouped encounter, but nearby monsters also increase the risk of a poor pull.
Focus Force supplies setup for force attacks such as
Force Blaster; that time, MP and positioning belong in the cost of the move.
Totem Spirit Puma deserves a look at its skill description rather than an assumption that every totem should stay active all day. Practice against a target you can survive without perfect execution. If repeated setup slows a short hunt, try a different opening before concluding the path is weak.
A fist weapon and a two-handed melee weapon lead to different equipment and shot plans. Compare the C1 item record, grade and running Soulshot cost before paying for a headline attack value. Armor, healing supplies and travel money can matter more than a small weapon upgrade when the next camp is dangerous. Keep a fallback for solo hunts if the main plan assumes a healer or coordinated pulls.
Set Destroyer and Tyrant to the same planned level in the C1 Char Builder and use equipment that fits each class without wildly different cost. Select one or two mobs in the Mob Comparator, then record time between pulls, HP and MP spent, skill uptime and failed approaches. Try again with the party composition you expect. A class choice should survive a whole session, not just a single exciting hit.
Both second classes use Trial of the Challenger and Testimony of Glory, then split at the final Test. Destroyer requires Test of the Champion; Tyrant follows Test of the Duelist. Open the linked 3-in-1 route for the chosen destination to see where the quests begin and how NPCs and proof items fit together. The shared first two titles do not make the full itineraries interchangeable.
