Start at Matild with enough time to travel

The Wishing Potion is a repeatable C1 quest with a level 30 entry. Matild, near the Ivory Tower, begins with an alchemy text and sends you to find her missing book. This is a travel and collection journey rather than a single hunting camp. Bring room for quest items and set a sensible stopping point before starting the long ingredient circuit.

Recover the book before farming ingredients

The quest record places the Secret Keeper Tree in the Cruma Swamp ruins. Defeating it yields the book Matild needs; return to her to receive the potion recipe items and open the collection phase. Do this conversation first. Hunting later targets without the active recipe stage can waste time even if those monsters are otherwise useful for experience.

Split the ingredient circuit into regional trips

The native steps scatter ingredients around Giran, Cruma Swamp, Floran, Ant Nest, Wasteland and the Orc Barracks. Group nearby targets into one outing and restock between the more dangerous stops. The table highlights recorded quest items, while the full quest page supplies exact monster names and progression order. Some targets are much higher than the entry level, so consider a party.

After the first full collection, Matild provides her orb and a first Wish Potion. The orb matters for later repeats: it changes the setup so another run can focus on gathering ingredients. Store the quest item carefully and verify its presence before deciding to repeat the route. Repeating the quest still costs travel, combat supplies and time.

Make the wish for an experience, not a promised jackpot

The wish choice has several possible outcomes. The quest record includes modest items, adena, unusual encounters and rare outcomes across its wealth, kingship, love and wisdom branches. Do not budget a gear purchase around the most valuable possibility. Pick the branch you actually want to explore, and treat any favorable result as a bonus rather than a reliable farming return.

Check whether another quest fits the same trip

A Wasteland or Ant Nest ingredient leg may overlap a normal hunt, but the full potion route is broader than one area's quest list. Open Matild's exact quest steps before each stop, track what remains in your inventory, and use the travel tool to avoid an expensive zigzag. If a required target is beyond your safe range, pause the chain and return with suitable party support.
