Recognize the crystal exchange option

Giran's specialist shop offers a route to selected C-grade weapons, armor and jewelry using both D-grade and C-grade crystals. That makes it an alternative to waiting for one exact drop or gathering a full recipe. It is not an adena-only purchase: first establish the quantity and price of each crystal grade on your server, then compare with a finished item offered by a player.

The historical C1 exchange list shows markedly different crystal totals for a small armor piece and a weapon. These examples are planning figures, not universal live prices. Open the linked C1 item records to confirm grade and stats, then inspect the current shop menu before acquiring thousands of crystals for an expensive weapon.

Calculate an actual acquisition cost

Multiply the D-crystal count by the best obtainable D-crystal unit price, do the same for C crystals, then add any trading or travel cost. Use prices you can actually pay today rather than a remembered market quote. This calculation turns a tempting shop offer into a number you can compare with a player sale, a crafted recipe and the opportunity cost of crystallizing your own gear.

Treat crystals as resources with competing uses

The same crystal stock can support shot crafting or other equipment plans. Spending most of it on one exchange may leave your next hunt under-supplied. The linked crystal item records make it easier to track the two grades separately. If a clan or crafter is pooling supplies, agree which quantity is reserved for the shop before someone converts or sells it.

Compare the finished item, not only the exchange rate

A C-grade weapon may produce a larger improvement than a small armor piece, but it can also consume far more crystals and shots during later hunts. Review your class's equipment grade, the item's actual stats and your remaining consumable budget. If crafting or buying from a player is cheaper after materials and time, the specialist shop is simply one option rather than the default route.

Confirm the live menu before committing

The listed counts are historical and a private server may alter its Giran shop or remove an item. Visit the appropriate weapon or armor merchant, check that the item and both crystal amounts match, and only then buy or crystallize supplies. A short verification step prevents a costly stockpile built around a menu your server does not use.
