Follow Sorint's collector ranks, the three base coin branches and a worked Moonstone Earring exchange in Lineage 2 C1.
Coin of Magic is a repeatable C1 quest with level 40 entry, started through Warehouse Keeper
Sorint. Its long item list can look like a generic farming objective, but the useful question is which specific equipment reward you want. Pick that goal first, then trace its required coin ranks and trades. A collector without a target can spend many sessions gathering coins that do not move the chosen purchase forward.
Coin of Magic starts at level 40 with Warehouse Keeper
Sorint. His opening task involves
Bernard's rare and Harit Lizardmen; returning that coin establishes the first collector membership. Higher ranks ask for additional named sets. Check the active Sorint dialogue before exchanging anything, because a coin needed for a rank upgrade may also look useful for an immediate reward.
| Collector rank | Required milestone |
|---|---|
| after |
| Blood Werewolf, Blood Drevanul, Gold Knight, Gold Drake, Silver Fairy and Silver Golem |
| Blood Basilisk, Blood Succubus, Gold Giant, Gold Wyrm, Silver Undine and Silver Dryad |
The C1 quest record uses , and as starting currency for different exchange branches. Count each family separately before visiting a trader. Buying an advanced coin can consume ten or twenty base coins at once, so compare your remaining stock with both the next membership requirement and the equipment reward you actually want.
| Base coin | Why track it |
|---|---|
| Used in lower-rank exchanges | |
| Feeds a separate trade branch | |
| Supports another branch |
The quest lists several possible monsters for each base coin.
Timak Orc Archers are one recorded source, Timak Orc Shamans can feed the branch, and Formors are among the sources. These are examples for route planning, not guaranteed drops. Open the linked C1 mob records, check your current quest stage and compare the monster level with your party before farming.
| Example C1 monster | Level | Quest coin |
|---|---|---|
| Timak Orc Archer | 41 | |
| Timak Orc Shaman | 44 | |
| Formor | 45 |
The recorded direct trades offer a predictable way to turn base coins into the named pieces
Sorint asks for. Page in Hunters Village handles trades;
Lorain near Cruma Tower handles ;
Hagger in Oren handles . Some dialogues also offer a chance-based coin game. The examples below describe direct exchanges only: inspect the live NPC menu before committing the currency.
The C1 reward list asks for one , six Blood Werewolves and six Silver Golems for . Using the direct options above, Page needs 20 for the rare coin and 60 more for the six Werewolves;
Lorain needs 60 for six Golems. That is 80 Blood Medusa plus 60 Gold Wyvern, before the separate opening membership task. Confirm the live exchange and reward menus before farming the full total.
| Reward requirement | Quantity | Direct path |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 20 at Page | |
| 6 | 60 at Page | |
| 6 | 60 at | |
| 1 | Exchange the three requirements with Sorint |
Sorint's listed rewards range from jewelry to armor and weapons. The route above is one concrete starter plan; and belong to different coin and membership goals. Open the linked item records to compare grade and stats, then follow that item's requirements on the exact C1 quest page. Do not collect every possible coin when only one equipment target fits your character.
| Example listed reward | Category |
|---|---|
| Jewelry | |
| Armor | |
| Weapon |
Coin collection crosses multiple monster areas and traders. Record the starting coin count, each direct exchange, travel fares and the final
Sorint hand-in. A repeatable quest can be a long-term goal without being a good single-session adena farm. After each visit, update the coins still needed and stop once the chosen reward is obtained; another item is a separate plan.
