Read the six C1 base stats as practical class tradeoffs, then compare the final character sheet after skills, equipment and armor sets.
A C1 character begins with six base stats tied to its race and starting class. They shape the character sheet, but they are not the final combat numbers. Level, equipment, learned skills and some complete armor sets also matter. Use the C1 class record to compare base values, then look at the finished build before claiming that one race is always faster, tougher or stronger than another.
STR, DEX and CON mainly explain physical damage, accuracy and speed, and durability. INT, WIT and MEN explain magical attack, casting speed and magical or MP-related resilience. The table is a reading guide rather than a precise damage calculator: class passives and equipment can move the visible result. If a stat appears high but your combat performance looks different, inspect the weapon, armor and skills next.
| Base stat | What to inspect on the sheet | Practical question |
|---|---|---|
| STR | Physical attack | Does the class rely on physical damage? |
| DEX | Accuracy, critical, attack and movement speed, evasion | Can it land hits and reposition? |
| CON | HP and carrying capacity | How much pressure can it absorb? |
| INT | Magical attack | How much does a spell benefit? |
| WIT | Casting speed | How quickly can it complete casts? |
| MEN | MP and magical defense | Can it sustain and resist magic? |
The native C1 class data lists Human Fighter at STR 40, DEX 30 and CON 43, while Elven Fighter has STR 36, DEX 35 and CON 36. That is a tradeoff in base values, not a verdict on either profession's damage or survivability. Compare both class paths and their later skills before choosing a character for one number. The same principle applies to Mystic paths, where INT, WIT and MEN deserve more attention.
| C1 starting class | STR / DEX / CON | What to compare next |
|---|---|---|
| Human Fighter | 40 / 30 / 43 | Later fighter profession and gear |
| Elven Fighter | 36 / 35 / 36 | Later fighter profession and gear |
P.Atk, M.Atk, accuracy, critical rate, casting speed and maximum HP are results shown after several inputs interact. A new weapon can raise attack even though STR or INT has not changed; a passive can alter the same sheet without changing your race. When testing an upgrade, compare the before and after character sheet using the same buffs and equipment. Otherwise you may attribute a difference to the wrong stat.
Some C1 sets have a bonus that matters beyond the defense of one piece. Read the native set record for all required parts and the exact signed effect before changing gear. An incomplete set may leave the base-stat plan untouched, while completing it can change the character sheet you use for comparison. This is a better reason to choose a set than assuming one label or appearance is optimal for every class.
A tank cares about surviving repeated pulls, a caster about spell output and MP flow, and a mobile fighter about landing attacks while repositioning. Those goals suggest which stats deserve attention, but they do not replace testing the full class and gear combination. Use the build tool to compare a plausible setup, then verify its feel in a real C1 hunt rather than treating one base-stat number as the whole build.
