Understand who can bid for a Chronicle 1 clan hall, how the auction uses clan funds, and what ownership costs after the win.
A C1 clan hall is a shared base and a recurring expense. The leader of a level 2 or higher clan may bid only when that clan does not already own a hall. Before looking at auctions, agree on a contribution plan for both the initial bid and later upkeep. A hall is most useful when members will actually use its storage, recovery and travel services.
The Chronicle 1 update places small halls in Gludio and Dion and larger halls in Gludin. Region matters because members will return there between hunts, hand-ins and supply trips. Pick a base that supports the group’s current routes rather than paying more simply for a prestigious address.
| Village | C1 halls | Planning angle |
|---|---|---|
| Gludio | Four small halls | Convenient for western early routes |
| Gludin | Five large halls | Useful when members stage near the port town |
| Dion | Three small halls | Central to several early group hunts |
Auction offers are hidden from other bidders. The leader places a bid using adena already held in the clan warehouse, and can raise it with a rebid. At the end, the highest bid wins; if the top offers tie, the earlier one wins. An unsuccessful bid returns to the warehouse. This makes a spending cap and clear member consent especially valuable before the leader commits shared adena.
Canceling a bid returns the money with a ten percent deduction, so speculative bids have a real cost. Ownership also carries a weekly usage fee taken from the clan warehouse. If funds are missing, the leader gets a notice and a one-week grace period; continued nonpayment sends the hall back to auction. Keep the next fee separate from ordinary crafting funds.
Members can access warehouse service, paid HP and MP recovery, and a hall teleporter. Travel to the village entrance and square is available, while destinations farther away have a fee. Compare those conveniences with the group’s actual routine: a nearby hall can shorten repeated resupply runs, but it does not replace checking the route and cost of a particular trip.
A leader can auction the hall with a deposit and a chosen one, three or seven-day sale period. Canceling that sale forfeits the deposit and prevents another sale listing for seven days. A clan with a hall cannot simply begin dissolution, so the decision has consequences beyond the purchase price. Write down who controls the warehouse and how sale proceeds would be handled before bidding.
