REBORN ORIGINS- PROBLEMS WITH SMARTGUARD
Since the last smartguard update it is possible that some of you get an error when trying to launch the game.
The reason is that the EV Certificate to sign the software expired, and until it gets renewed some antivirus will flag it not a trusted application.
This situation won't be resolved for few weeks, until SmartGuard manages to resolve the issue.
The only workaround for now is to disable Windows Defender Smart App Control
How to Turn Off Smart App Control
- Open the Start menu, type Windows Security, and open the app.
- Click on App & browser control.
- Select Smart App Control settings.
- Change the setting from Evaluation or On to Off.
